We contacted Lifeway Mobility in early January of 2018 as my mom was having issues walking up her back steps. Within a few days we met with a Lifeway Mobility representative. He assessed my mom’s situation and recommended an outdoor chair-lift and some grab bars to ensure that my mom would be able to access her home comfortably without the struggle of having to walk up the 16 steps. Without the chair-lift, my mom would not have been able to continue living at her home.

Yesterday our Bruno stair lift was installed. I have never experienced a better installation, or installer, for any other item bought for our home. I wish I had a man like Jimmy Haney working for me when I had my business. He exemplified everything an installer should be.

He seemed to genuinely care about what he was doing. He is efficient. He has a textbook knowledge of the product. He went to great pains to explain the lift’s operation, and gave us a mini course in safety during use, and what to do in emergencies, should one occur. He responded patiently when we bombarded him with idiotic questions. He has the right disposition for dealing with customers and their questions. This is a man who should be training installers.

I am writing to thank you for all the guidance and assistance I received when purchasing my stair lift from your company. I felt truly blessed by the quality of service I received from everyone I dealt with.

Jen was so friendly and helpful on the phone. Even when I called her a few times with questions she seemed eager to help. She answered all my questions and never let me feel like I was bothering her. She answered each question simply and thoroughly and seemed pleased to do that for me, and always had a sense of humor which made each call a joy.

Thomas Sean O’Reilly who gave me a demonstration of the stair lift, and measured the stairs, was so considerate. He answered my questions, showed me a couple of choices and told me the difference in each lift. I never felt pushed to make an immediate decision, nor did I feel pressured to purchase a more expensive model. He gave me all the information to make my own decision in my own time. All the while sharing his time and knowledge like I was the only customer he had.

Shane O’Brien (my installer) was so respectful. He greeted me at the door with his business card showing so I knew exactly who he was before I opened the door. This was very reassuring to me. He made countless trips in and out of the house and always wiped his feet before entering. He was friendly and talkative, but never stopped working from the time he arrived until the time he left. He explained everything he was doing and why, and made sure I understood all the chair’s features. He helped me use the chair and made sure I was comfortable with its use before he left. I was very comfortable with having him in my home and he seemed happy to be of service. He was very friendly which made the afternoon a joy.

All in all, my experience with Freedom Lifts [now Lifeway Mobility] has been totally positive. I am very happy with my stair lift and will heartily recommend your company to anyone who asks. Thank you for making my stair lift purchase such a positive one.
