Acorn Stairlift
The Acorn stairlift, also called a Acorn chair lift for stairs, is manufactured overseas. It fits most straight staircases and comes with a standard seat and molded plastic chair. The Acorn stair lift is installed onto the treads of the stairs is sold under the Acorn or Brooks brands.
It comes with a larger steel rail that has an exposed gear rack at the top of the rail and is visible from any angle. For best operation, the Acorn rail should be greased. There is a charging strip at the top 3 inches and the bottom 3 inches that charges the stairlift. If the chair is not left at one of the charging strips, it will beep to alert you that it is not charging.

The Acorn stairlift can be installed with a hinged rail upgrade option, which is designed to eliminate the possibility of the rail become a trip hazard.
Acorn Stairlift Warranty Information
Every new Acorn stairlift comes with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty as standard (from the date of installation), with an option to upgrade the warranty coverage at an additional cost . When the warranty expires, the customer would be contacted to review a range of annual service agreements warranties at an additional charge.
