Lifeway Mobility is excited to announce that Extended Home Living Services (EHLS) — a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, licensed general contractor, and licensed elevator contractor providing lifts and accessibility modifications in the greater Chicago area, southeast Wisconsin and northwest Indiana — has joined Lifeway Mobility.
For more than 25 years, EHLS has been helping people remain safely in their homes by creating accessible, barrier-free environments and striving for the highest levels of professionalism, quality, and customer service.
“Through years of striving to provide our customers with the best service and solutions, EHLS has grown into a national leader in the accessibility industry, and we’re excited at the opportunity to offer expanded coverage, new programs, and a wider range of product offerings through our partnership with Lifeway Mobility,” said Elizabeth Crandall, president of EHLS.
“We’re thrilled to welcome EHLS to the Lifeway Mobility family, said Lifeway Mobility president Paul Bergantino. “Joining forces with EHLS — the number one source for lifts and accessibility modifications in the Chicago area — is an important step in our growth plan, and we look forward to adding more locations in the future.”
EHLS will continue to operate under its own brand as a Lifeway Mobility company out of EHLS’s current headquarters at 210 W. Campus Drive, Suite B, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. There are no plans for personnel changes at EHLS, and Stephen and Elizabeth Crandall will remain in active leadership roles.
Lifeway Mobility offers a full selection of commercial and home accessibility and safety solutions including ramps, elevators, wheelchair lifts, stair lifts, and bath safety solutions; serving Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, southern New Hampshire, the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Metro region, and western Wisconsin. With the acquisition of EHLS, Lifeway Mobility will offer additional coverage areas in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana.
