Lifeway recently had the opportunity to help a United States Navy veteran and retired Chicago firefighter. A longtime resident, he was in a nursing home because his home was not wheelchair accessible. We helped modify his house so he could come home!
Our modifications included a new entry ramp, wheelchair accessible bathroom, widened doorways, new flooring throughout, and more.
